Obituary:

Barbara Sue Christman, 66, of Donegal passed away Thur. July 1, 2010 at her home. She was born Aug. 6, 1943 in Cassville, MO., a daughter of the late Spencer and Grace Womack Wallace. Barbara had been a resident of Donegal since 2001. She was a member of the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church in Greensburg. Barbara was a loving homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister to her family. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her children Randy Christman and wife Tammy of Acme and Pam Jones and husband Rev. Tom Jones of Greensburg, her grandchildren Sherry Showman and husband Craig, Elizabeth Keslar and husband Jeremy, John Christman and wife Alverta, Jeff Christman, Bobbie Sue Gildroy and husband Jason, Jenna Altom and husband Rev. Nate Altom, and Amanda Jones and fiancée Brandon Ferry, her great grandchildren Alyssia, Tyler, Lauren, and Libbi Showman, Jared and Kadie Keslar, Kylee Christman, and Alayna, Autumn, and Alex Gildroy, her brother Johnny Wallace and wife Wilma of Berryville, AR., her sisters Jean Bronson of Cassville, MO., June Brown of Wheaton, MO., Joann Hatcher and husband Fred of Eureka Springs, AR., and Opal Glisson and husband Clell of Owasso, OK., and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Barbara was predeceased by her husband, whom she married Aug. 13, 1959, Rev. John Christman who passed away in 2000, and a sister Ina Wiley.
Family and friends will be received Sat. from 7-9 PM and Sun. from 2-9 PM in the Clyde Brooks funeral Home Inc., at the corner of route 711 and 146 Municipal Building Rd., Melcroft, where a funeral service will be held Mon. at 11:00 AM with her son-in law Rev. Tom Jones and her grandson-in-law Rev. Nate Altom officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Champion. Donations may be made to the Keystone Free Will Baptist Church, 22 Westview Dr., Greensburg, PA. 15601, in memory of Barbara Sue Christman.
