Catherine M. Miele Napoleon, 94, a lifelong resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Sun. July 11, 2010 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born April 20, 1916 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of the late John and Catherine Perillo Miele. Catherine was a member of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her sons Michael Napoleon and wife Karen of Lilburn, GA., Anthony Napoleon and wife Shelley of Franklin TN., her daughter-in-law Bonnie Wardenga and husband Tom of Mt. Pleasant, her grandchildren Michelle Dolney and husband Joseph of Harrison City, Melissa Mitcheltree and husband Thomas of Raymond, NH., Michael Napoleon and wife Kristen of Scottsdale ,AZ., Kerri Napoleon of Norcross GA., and Megan and Brittany Napoleon both of Franklin, TN., her great grandchildren Nicholas and Carson Dolney, and Katherine and Lillian Mitcheltree, her brothers John Miele Jr. of California, Pete Miele of Jonestown, PA., and Henry Miele of Mt. Pleasant, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Catherine was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Napoleon, a son Joseph Napoleon, 3 brothers Philip, Jerry, and Joseph Miele, and 2 sisters Angeline Kiral and Michalena Sirianni.
Family and friends will be received Wed. from 5-8 PM, in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 E. Washington St. Mt. Pleasant, where a Blessing Service will be held Thur. at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, in St. Pius X R.C. Church, Mt. Pleasant, with Rev. Richard Kosisko as celebrant. A committal service and interment will follow in the St. Pius Cemetery. A Parish Wake Service will be held Wed. at 6:00 PM in the funeral home.
