Jerald W. Metzger, 61, of Markleysburg, died Friday Jul. 2, 2010 at Henry Clay Villa Markleysburg. He was born Sep. 12, 1948 in Connellsville, a son of the late Gerald Lloyd and Hazel F. (Woodward) Metzger. Jerald was well liked and loved by his family and his friends at Henry Clay Villa. He regularly attended and was a member of the Henry Clay Villa Church. Jerald will be most dearly missed by his sister and best friend Kathy E. Metzger of Markleysburg, and will also be sadly missed but fondly remembered by the rest of his brothers and sisters; Janet E. Summy and husband Alan of Front Royal, VA, Diane E. Bovard of Connellsville, Kevin L. Metzger and wife Mary Jane of Charleston SC, and Eric L. Metzger and wife Patti of Panama City, FL. His nephews Jared Bovard, Justin Summy, Daniel Metzger, Stephen Metzger, Christopher Metzger, and Kyle Metzger. His nieces; Caitlyn Bovard, Kirsten Olesniewicz, Courtney Khoumrasmy, Hannah Metzger, and Moira Mason, a great nephew Austin Summy and a great niece Collette Mason. A private memorial service will be held for Jerald at Henry Clay Villa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Brooks Funeral Home Inc. 111 E. Green St. Connellsville.
