Katherine S. Hoke, 62 of Mt. Pleasant, (Bullskin Twp.) passed away Sun. April 26, 2009 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg.
She was born Feb. 1, 1947 in Mt. Pleasant a daughter of Lillian Hamel Hoke of Mt. Pleasant and the late Fred A. Hoke.
Kathy was a lifelong resident of Bullskin Twp. and was a graduate of Connellsville High School with the class of 1965. She had worked as a Secretary for Frick Hospital in Mt. Pleasant for 44 years and was a member of the Paradise United Methodist Church, in Bullskin Twp.
In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her brothers Fred M. Hoke and wife Francie of Mt. Pleasant and Kenneth Hoke and wife Dara of Dawson, her nephew Fred O. Hoke of Mt. Pleasant, her niece Mandy Hyatt and husband Rob of Connellsville, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends will be received Tue. from 2-9 PM in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mt. Pleasant. Additional viewing will be held Wed. from 9-11 AM, the hour of a funeral service, in the Paradise U.M. Church, Bullskin Twp., with Pastor Charles Prevot officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Donegal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Paradise U.M. Church, Box 393, Mt.
