Samuel C. Brooks

President / Owner

Samuel C. Brooks represents the 4th generation of the Brooks Family to serve the families of the Fay-West area. After graduating from Eckles College of Mortuary Science in 1949 he became a licensed funeral director in 1950. He then served two more years with the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He is an active member of many civic and community organizations. Sam is married to Dolores "Sandy" Sandusky Brooks and is the father of nine children, 14 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

David S. Brooks

Funeral Director / Owner

David S. Brooks is part of the 5th generation of Brooks Family funeral directors. A resident and community leader in Mount Pleasant, he is married to Jan Czekaj Brooks and has three children, Stephen, Abbey and Bobby. David is a graduate of Bethany College and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and is the supervisor of the Mount Pleasant Funeral Home location. He is available to serve the families of the Fay-West area from all of the Brooks Funeral Home locations.

Mark C . Brooks

Funeral Director / Owner

Mark C. Brooks has been a licensed funeral director since 1983 when he received his degree from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. Mark is also a graduate of Bethany College in West Virginia. He resides in Connellsville and is married to Carla O'Donnell Brooks. The have two children, Matthew and Jessica.

Amy Brooks Hertznell

Clerical Supervisor / Manager

Amy Brooks Hertznell is the Clerical Supervisor and Office Manager of the Brooks Funeral Homes. Amy is married to David Hertznell and resides in Connellsville.

Clarence Swink

	Clarence "Lefty" Swink, Jr. has been a member of the Brooks Funeral Home Staff since 1949. A graduate of Eckels School of Embalming, he continues to be an active member of the Brooks staff. He is married to Fran Swink and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren.

Our staff at Brooks Funeral Home, Inc. consists of five licensed funeral directors and our office workforce consists of capable preneed and financial planning personnel. We are fortunate to have our own maintenance staff on hand in order to take care of any problem which should arise.
